Ike Graham is a newspaper columnist who causes an uproar by writing a false story about Maggie Carpenter, a woman who has left a few men, literally, stranded at the altar. He sets about proving his story while Maggie plans to even the score - but neither can anticipate the sparks that will fly when they do eventually meet up...
